AOST Libya was founded with the accumulation of executives that had a strong petroleum industry exposure and determination for potential growth. AOST LIBYA has a spanning 4 decades of experience in the oilfield services sector. We are specialized as an inspection company, providing NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), Tubular inspection, Cathodic
Protection (CP) + upgrade and third-party inspection for oil, gas and civil sectors including the provision of the engineering support staff of different categories. We offer procurement, sourcing material & equipment of well-known brands for Oil, Gas and Civil use, due to our long-term professional relationships with our subcontract companies located worldwide.

AOST Libya has the capability to handle the inspection of various oilfield equipment and testing on rigs/work-over rigs. Rig inspection, drill pipe inspection and tubular inspection from AOST LIBYA – identify defects before they cause serious damage, assure smooth oper- ation and reduce financial risks. 1981–1989
CBA Oilfield Services Company (Malta-based)
- Managed Libyan oilfield operations at multiple locations.
- Provided NDT services, drilling equipment maintenance, and specialized inspection services.
- Established the technical expertise and client relationships that continue today.
1990–2008
AOT Ltd
- Expanded operations across multiple oil companies in Libya and North Africa.
- Managed major projects including LNG plant construction inspection, pipeline surveys, and industrial facility construction.
- Served major clients including AGIP, AGOCO, Veba Oil, and others.
- Refined and expanded technical capabilities.
2009–Present
AOST Libya Inspection & QC
- Consolidation of expertise and operations under the current entity.
- Focus on inspection and quality control as primary business.
- Continuation of long-term client relationships, particularly with Harouge Oil Operations.

- Director -
Bringing over 40 years of experience in the private sector as General Manager, Branch Manager and Operations Manager in the petroleum industry providing oilfield services to several international companies located in North Africa .
- Vice Chairman -
Akram has been in partnership with AOST Libya ever since it's initiation. He is the core of the administration devising short and long term plans, establishing a clear set of objectives and, making sure the organization reaches its destination.
- Chief Executive Officer -
Mohammed, with his international experience in the industry of petroleum, helps us easily understand the numbers and improves them. He is determined to drive success and delivers his professional acumen to tale the company to the next level.
- Project Engineer & Advisor -
With a background in petroleum engineering & experience in the industry, Adnan contributes with his strong tecnical & managerial skills. He consistently delivers quality results and displays exceptional performances on all our projects.
- Senior NDT Inspector -
Senior and most experienced member of crew with over 30 years of experience as a certified NDT Inspector. Specialties include VT, PT, MT, RT and Vacuum tests. Pislaru has worked all around the world and is now leading our NDT crew.
- NDT & Pipe supervisor -
With over 15 years of experience in NDT and visual testing.. Faouzi is particularly familiar with the region of North Africa having worked as a pipe inspector also, he is supervising our NDT crew. Other skills include films interpretation, corrosion and thickness control.
- NDT Technician, Welding expert & NDT Supervisor -
A professional with over 30 years of various expertise in NDT. Upon gaining exposure in Offshore Europe, he joined us in Libya and was a great asset to our crew.
- RT Inspector (LvII) -
A veteran with over 10 years of NDT Inspection experience in Africa and the Middle East region. Specialties include PT, MT, RT & UT. Ernesto recently joined us and is working with out NDT crew at our Ghani Oilfield inspection project.
